Harriett M. Pitt Recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Infectious Disease Prevention

 MONTCLAIR, CA, January 23, 2012 /Cambridge Who's Who/ -- Harriett M. Pitt, President of EPIC Management Group, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in infectious disease prevention.

For the past three decades, Ms. Pitt has honed her expertise in infectious disease prevention. She brings her experience and expertise to the role of president of EPIC Management Group, Inc., a provider of private consulting services and education regarding infectious disease prevention and epidemiology. It specializes in the integration of disease prevention services into existing services. In addition to overseeing all operations of her company, she speaks at seminars and gives lectures on infectious disease prevention. She also consults in acute care hospitals and ambulatory care settings. Her success can be attributed to her hard work and passion, as well as her networking and mentoring abilities. 

Ms. Pitt has always had an interest in health care. She holds a Bachelor of Science in nursing and a Master of Science in health science and epidemiology. Certified in public health nursing and infection control, she retains numerous professional affiliations, including the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc., Infectious Disease Association of California, and Certification Board of Infection Control, Inc. She has also served on the infection prevention committee of the Hospital Association of Southern California. Looking toward the future, Ms. Pitt intends to bring about a significant increase in the number of infection preventions, through education to more people. She also plans to make her company more effective in the fight against infectious diseases.
